Healthcare assistant- female
We are looking for caring female Healthcare assistants to join our Nursing home located in Cleckheaton, Kirkleed, west Yorkshire.
This 86-bedded Nursing and Residential Care Home specialises in the care of residents with dementia,Alzeihmer's, elderly..
We are unable to accept student visas or skilled workers.
We do not provide sponsorship!
We do recruit care assistants with experience living in the area or able to relocate within 2 weeks.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time, hours: 36- 42 per week
Salary: starting at £12.21 per hour
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
2. Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual
3. Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
4. Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
5. Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
6. Answer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as required
7. Answer the door and telephone appropriately
8. Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptly
9. Report on well-being of Residents
10. Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etcRequirements for the role
