Your Role
As our Fairground Technical Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our fairground rides and equipment are safe, compliant, and ready for fun! Your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating routine technical inspections and maintenance for all fairground rides.
* Conducting daily ride opening and closing check audits to ensure safety and compliance.
* Overseeing all administrative duties related to your role, including stock control and equipment purchasing.
* Leading team development to foster a culture of efficiency and excellence.
About You
We are looking for a hands-on leader with a solid technical background, ideally with a mechanical focus. Your experience should include:
* Working with inspectors and managing the strip down and rebuild of equipment.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills, as you will be the first point of contact for your team.
* The ability to work independently, prioritize a demanding workload, and maintain a keen eye for detail.
* A thorough and meticulous approach to all tasks.
Working Conditions
This role will require you to work weekends during the peak season, ensuring that our fairground operates smoothly and safely for all our guests.
