Leveraging off‑site fabrication, we design and deliver solutions to mechanical and public health engineers, M&E contractors, and local authorities. With over 50 years of experience, we serve commercial, high‑rise residential, healthcare, education, and leisure projects.
Role Overview
This role is project‑focused, selling the entire range of products Polypipe offers into the commercial market. The product ranges include above‑ground drainage, water supply systems, advantage fabrication systems, and all associated building services products and services.
Area coverage: NN, MK, SG, LU, HP, WD, HA, N, NW, W. Candidates must live within the patch.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver expected conversion rates on selected projects using a cradle‑to‑grave approach in collaboration with the wider sales team.
* liaise with key stakeholders on new projects, documenting progress and activities for all personally assigned opportunities.
* Manage effective and forward diary planning.
* Handle contractor terms and agreements, including regular reviews of levels and spend to justify terms.
* Provide first‑line technical dialogue and information to the selected customer base.
* liaise with clients and address objections.
* Respond to all enquiries quickly, providing excellent customer service.
* Complete weekly reporting on the CRM system.
* Identify incremental growth opportunities.
* Represent and support the business at social and brand‑awareness events.
* Assist with site tasks and technical training.
* Own the delivery and supply of projects by supporting operational departments.
Skills & Requirements
* Excellent knowledge of the M&E marketplace.
* Proven track record on large‑scale commercial projects and ability to handle technical dialogue at all levels, including presenting to groups.
* Rapidly become a technical specialist in PBS products and services.
* Understanding of the project stages and decision‑making process in commercial construction.
* Driving licence (essential for travel).
