National Data and Analysis Manager

A nationally recognised organisation delivering high impact public services is looking for a National Data and Analysis Manager to lead its performance reporting and insight capability.
This role sits within a central Data and Insight team and offers the chance to combine hands on analysis with people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and genuinely meaningful work.
The Role
You will take ownership of national performance reporting and analysis, supporting senior leaders and external commissioners with trusted, high quality insight.
Key responsibilities include
• Owning the national reporting cycle and delivery timelines
• Producing monthly and quarterly KPI packs, dashboards, and commissioner reports
• Establishing reporting standards and robust QA processes
• Translating operational and commissioner requirements into analytical workplans
• Managing and developing a team of 3 to 4 analysts
• Partnering with data engineering teams to improve data quality and reuse
What We’re Looking For
• Strong numerate and analytical skills
• Experience managing or leading a small analytics or reporting team
• Advanced Excel and experience with Business Objects or Power BI
• Confident communicating insights to non technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working with sensitive data and subject matter
• Open to candidates from non traditional data backgrounds
SQL experience is beneficial but not essential from day one.
