Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is more than a reporting role its an opportunity to influence strategy, strengthen financial controls, and help drive business performance during an important transition period. The Opportunity This is a hands-on leadership role where you will: Take full ownership of monthly management accounts and present meaningful insights to the Managing Director Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team Strengthen financial processes and reporting accuracy Manage cash flow to support sustainable growth Oversee payroll, HMRC returns, and statutory compliance Lead the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors Partner with operational departments to support commercial decision-making Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives You wont just be producing numbers youll be helping shape decisions. About You You are: A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience Commercially aware and confident interpreting financial data Comfortable taking initiative and leading from the front Highly organised with strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in Excel and financial systems Experienced (3 years) in a commercially focused finance role Most importantly, youre ambitious, proactive, and ready to step into a role with genuine responsibility and visibility.
