Team Lead Days Location: Belfast Salary: £33,000-£34,000 Hours: 37.5 hours per week (3 x 12.5-hour shifts, including weekends) Contract Type: Permanent-Day time Team Lead and Nights Team Lead available About the Service The service is a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Service offering 12 single-occupancy apartments. It provides a person-centred approach to individuals with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder, and complex needs. Operating under the PBS framework, the service offers 24-hour care and support. Purpose of the Role As part of the management team, the Team Leader will support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to deliver high-quality care in compliance with the Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 and Minimum Standards. The role involves supervising the support team, ensuring personalised care plans and risk assessments are implemented, and managing resources effectively. The position requires flexibility, including working unsociable hours, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rota. Key Responsibilities Service Provision Leadership and Supervision Compliance and Reporting Resource Management Team Development Essential Criteria: GCSE Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent. Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or commitment to obtain within six months). At least two years' experience in a social care setting, including six months with behaviours that challenge. Knowledge of the service user group and their needs. Competency in IT, including Microsoft Office packages. Desirable Criteria: A recognised qualification in nursing or social work. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services. Experience supervising staff or working in a supported living context.
