About the Role:
Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in schools across Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives and helping them to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
2. Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
3. Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
4. Support with behaviour management and encourage positive learning engagement.
5. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
Requirements:
6. Previous experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential).
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A patient, caring, and resilient attitude.
9. Right to work in the UK.
10. DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
