Join our snack-loving team! We're looking for a Technical Development Lead to join our team at KP Snacks. This role involves driving the technical growth of our engineering team, supporting colleagues in building capability, maintaining compliance, and delivering training. You will own apprenticeship and ATM development programmes, shape succession pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify skills for new technologies. This position is ideal for someone with an engineering background committed to development and growth.

What will you be doing?
* Taking ownership of engineering training and compliance, ensuring statutory certifications are met.
* Designing and improving development programmes for apprentices and ATMs.
* Partnering with cross-functional teams to assess technical competency and support succession planning.
* Managing the engineering training budget and collaborating with external providers.
* Fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence, identifying skill gaps for future technologies.

* A recognised Electrical Engineering qualification and practical experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
* Experience in developing others’ technical skills through training or mentoring.
* Ability to build capability and plan for long-term succession.
* A health and safety mindset, with NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications being a plus.
* An interest in learning and development, with willingness to undertake further training qualifications.
