We’re currently seeking an outstanding Teacher or experienced Tutor to support SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) pupils in Wakefield and the surrounding areas. About the Role: You will work closely with SEMH pupils, many of whom face emotional, behavioural, or mental health challenges that impact their ability to engage with learning. The successful candidate will have experience supporting these learners, along with the patience, empathy, and strategies needed to help them thrive both academically and personally. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils reach their full potential by acting as a positive role model and providing a nurturing, supportive learning environment. Tuition may be delivered face-to-face in Wakefield or online, depending on each pupil’s needs. What We’re Looking For: Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching or tutoring, ideally with SEMH pupils or similar needs Good knowledge of the National Curriculum A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable or at-risk young people Eligibility to work in the UK Why Join Us?
