Equans is looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Bellshill on a permanent basis. This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The role holder will be responsible for delivering a variety of project works on our customers' sites across Scotland, with full accountability and responsibility for managing and delivering multiple projects ranging in value up to £2,000,000.


What will you deliver?

* Delivery of a variety of project work opportunities from within MTS Scotland predominantly working on the Wheatley group contract.
* Consult with key clients and their stakeholders on project requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor.
* Work with the client to clearly define their brief and develop and agree their employers' requirements.
* Work with consultants, specialists, designers, and sub‑contractors (as required) to define and document clear and concise scopes of work under an activity schedule.
* Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project outcomes and business case within agreed budget requirements, risk profile, and to satisfy business objectives in terms of profitability.
* Work with commercial colleagues to ensure a detailed and compliant tender process, outcomes and presentations are in place for governance.
* Work within the current CDM regulations, taking on the role of client representative, and ensuring appropriate appointments are made and management of PC & PD to ensure they discharge appropriate duties.
* Identify, reduce, and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project you are leading.
* Embed EQUANS SHEQ practices and processes fully within development and delivery of each project, and ensure safety visits are conducted to agreed levels.
* Ensure full compliance with EQUANS policies and procedures.
* Manage the day‑to‑day operational aspects of the project(s) “end to end”; take the lead and be accountable to drive the project through to successful completion, including effective management of resources and support functions.
* Build strong effective working relationships with clients, customers and site teams.
* Effectively manage supply partners in compliance with procurement.
* Collaborate closely with all internal support functions to ensure they are effectively undertaking core duties and providing necessary outputs.
* Understand project‑level commercialities: costs and revenue for each project.
* Ensure all financial objectives are met in terms of contribution of margin.
* Value all subcontractor accounts and ensure reflective agreements are in place to cover cost commitments.
* Ensure projects are commercially viable and satisfy the commercial terms of the contract.
* Manage projects through company policies and procedures relating to commercial activities.

Who are we looking for?

* Proven project management experience in M&E, FM, construction or a critical environment
* End‑to‑end project management experience, responsible for development through to completion
* Understanding of commercial awareness
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills
* Ability to understand operational, risk and financial metrics
* Experience in internal and external customer management
* Networking skills
* Evidence of right to work in the UK; relocation package not offered for this role
