LOCATION: Barry (CF62)
PAY RATE: £12.60 - £13.30 per hour
HOURS: 35 hours a week
SHIFTS: 8:30am to 9:00pm or 9:00am to 3:00pm
About Kington House
We offer individual support, which aims to provide people with Learning Disabilities and Autism to have more choice and control over their own lives. Our person-centred approach is fundamental to the support provided. We offer flexible, individually adapted support, which enables individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations within a holistic and non-judgemental environment. By listening, we get to know people, their likes and dislikes as well as finding out what they want to achieve. This understanding helps us identify what success looks like for each person, which enables us to both support and celebrate their successes.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
* Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
* Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
* Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
* Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
* Assisting with personal care as required.
* Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
* Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
* DBS Check Paid - Your Enhanced DBS check, is fully covered by Keys Group, along with any required renewals.
