The role is a 6-month contract, paying a day rate between £500-600. The Role As Interim Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for driving the accuracy and robustness of short and medium-term cashflow forecasting, reporting to banks and lenders, and delivering insightful treasury analysis to support business decision-making. You will play a key part in day-to-day treasury risk management, credit risk assessment, and debt position analysis, whilst directly supporting the Head of Treasury in shaping treasury processes and transformation initiatives. Advanced Excel skills, including use of VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and dashboard construction, are essential. Lead the preparation of detailed short and medium-term cashflow forecasts to underpin business planning and liquidity management. Prepare and submit comprehensive banking and lender reports, ensuring timely and accurate communication of cash positions, debt obligations, and covenant compliance. Conduct regular risk assessments, including monitoring credit risk exposure and supporting risk mitigation strategies. Analyse debt positions, support scenario planning, and contribute to financial strategy development. Build and maintain Excel-based models (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, dashboards) to deliver actionable insights for the Treasury and Finance teams. Oversee daily cash operations, ensuring smooth settlement of treasury transactions and effective cash management. Collaborate with internal teams and external lenders to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and strong financial governance. Support ongoing treasury transformation projects and the enhancement of policies, controls, and processes. Your Profile You will ideally have: Previous experience in a Treasury Analyst or similar treasury/finance role, preferably within a group or multi-entity environment. Demonstrable expertise in short and medium-term cashflow forecasting, debt analysis, and banking/lender reporting. Advanced Excel skills, with hands-on experience using VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and dashboard construction for financial analysis. Strong understanding of treasury risk, including credit risk exposure and mitigation. Proven ability to manage daily cash operations in a dynamic environment. A collaborative and detail-focused approach. Prior experience in an interim or contract treasury role is beneficial but not essential. A rate of £500-600 per day is offered as a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
