Company Details and Job Overview: Kenton Black Finance are supporting a family owned business which has been operating for 30 years as they look to strengthen their finance function by recruiting a new Management Accountant. Employing around 90 staff, the business prides itself on impressive staff retention levels. 75% of their workforce have worked for the business for 5 years and 40% have been in role for 10 years. Key Benefits/ Rewards on Offer: • 30 days annual leave entitlement including bank holidays • Flexible working culture • Employer pension contribution • Discretionary bonuses • Life assurance Your New Role as Management Accountant: Working alongside 2 experienced members of the finance team, specific duties will include: • Management accounts production • Posting accruals, prepayments and journals • Balance sheet reconciliations • Variance analysis and detailed commentary • Management of fixed assets • Analysis of sales and overheads • Stock reconciliations • Preparation of payroll data • Liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including Directors and external accountants • Involvement in projects relating to process improvements and business expansion including integrating new sites Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply: The successful candidate will have management accounting experience and be fully competent in the use of Sage Line 50. Proven ability to review and enhance existing systems/procedures, and implement new processes is advantageous.
