About the Role:We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to join our supply team for roles in SEN schools in the Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme areas. Whether you are looking for temporary, long-term, or day-to-day work, we have opportunities to suit your availability and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting students with special educational needs in their learning and development
2. Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
3. Providing one-on-one or small group support as required
4. Implementing individual education plans and adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of each student
5. Promoting social and emotional development and fostering a sense of independence in students
Requirements:
6. Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential
7. Apassionate and patient nature, with a strongmitment to helping students achieve their full potential
8. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills
9. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different settings and with various age groups
