About the Role
As an MET Technician at Maidstone Prestige, you’ll play a crucial role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. From traditional to electric and hybrid vehicles, your skills in mechanical and electrical repair will be vital in delivering safe, high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
14. Mechanical & Electrical Expertise: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and trim systems, including ADAS calibration and wheel alignment.
15. Vehicle Dismantling: Carefully strip vehicles in preparation for panel and structural repairs.
16. Diagnostics: Use state-of-the-art tools to pinpoint and resolve faults quickly and accurately.
17. Parts Management: Ensure efficient ordering and control of replacement components.
18. Reassembly & QA: Rebuild vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring safety, precision, and compliance.
19. Collaboration: Work closely with your colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional results.

20. Proven experience as an MET Technician, ideally within an accident repair setting
21. Confidence working with a range of vehicles including electric and hybrid models
22. Expertise in diagnostics, mechanical repairs, ADAS, and wheel alignment
23. Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards
