Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Pocklington and surrounding areas Salary: £92.56 - £100 per day Job Type: Part-time & Full-time positions available Start Date: September 2026 We are seeking passionate Teaching Assistants to work in various schools in and around the Pocklington area on an adhoc basis. We have both part-time and full-time positions available, as well as both long-term and day to day. Key Responsibilities: Support the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities for children across EYFS - KS2. Help create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment that promotes exploration, play, and early learning. Assist in the personal, social, emotional, and educational development of young children through targeted support and encouragement. Work closely with the class teacher and other staff and contribute to planning, observation, and assessment. Requirements: Relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent). Level 3 is desirable. Experience working with children in EYFS or nursery settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and patient approach. Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting early childhood development. Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
