The Role: Customer Sales Manager The Hours: Monday-Friday 09:00am-17:30pm Location: Burgess Hill Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Plus Commission Our well established, growing client, is looking for an experienced Customer Sales Manager overseeing the Burgess Hill and Ashford depots. You will play a crucial role in driving the sales strategy for the client’s overall performance of our telesales teams. This position requires a hard-working individual with a proven track record in sales management, team leadership, and a passion for delivering a high-performance culture. Job role Lead and inspire the telesales teams across the two depots, putting in place key performance indicators using the data from the client’s system. Ensure you support your teams with a positive and motivational working environment where your teams can work hard but have fun. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team. Conduct regular 1-2-1 performance reviews and set individual and team goals aligned with the organisation’s sales strategy in that given year. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Implement initiatives to grow the customer base, exploring new opportunities and markets. Work with and encourage a strong relationship with the client’s field team to maximise sales opportunities for both teams. Generate regular reports on sales performance, presenting findings to the Sales Manager and offer suggestions for ways to improve our teams. Maintain open and effective communication channels within the telesales teams, encouraging a collaborative and one team approach. Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and productivity of the telesales teams. Candidate requirements: Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a multi-depot setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
