Are you an enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds? GSL Education is seeking a committed and dynamic DT Teacher to join secondary schools in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to make a real impact, helping students develop practical skills and creative confidence.
About the Role:
As a DT Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will nurture students’ curiosity, encourage innovative thinking, and ensure that pupils of all abilities are supported and challenged to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach a range of DT subjects such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, or Food Technology (depending on your specialism).
* Plan and deliver creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Prepare students for assessments and external examinations.
* Maintain excellent standards of behaviour and classroom management.
* Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum design, and wider school life.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Specialism in Design & Technology or a related subject.
* Experience teaching DT at secondary school level (GCSE desirable).
* Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire creativity.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full 10-year career history with recent references.
