Salary:
Unqualified: Base salary of £29,112.72 to £30,008.16 upon successful completion of the probation period.
Qualified: Base salary of £30,641.52 (Qualified Support Worker salary is based on the proven completion of a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent).
Specific Hours: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Location: Greater London (Covering Area Camden homes in Camden, Haringey & Islington)

Your Role
As a key figure in our team, you will:
* Promote and support young people in leading a life of positive development within a safe and nurturing environment.
* Provide emotional and social support, helping them build meaningful relationships and engage with local communities.
* Encourage self-esteem and ensure each young person feels respected and valued.
* Support young people in making positive life choices and achieving independence.
* Maintain high standards of recording, documenting daily and monthly progress, and ensuring child protection and health and safety checks are up to date.
* Assess the needs of children and young people, formulating and reviewing care plans under the guidance of your manager.
* Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including health advisors, social workers, and therapists.
* Assist with daily living needs in line with individual care plans.
* Engage in domestic duties, involving young people in meal planning, shopping, and preparation for a balanced diet.

* Relevant qualifications or a commitment to undertake a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare.
* Willingness to work some Bank Holidays.
