Job Details
* Job Title: Senior Project Manager
* Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri
* Location: Liverpool city centre on a hybrid basis
* Salary: £Competitive

What You’ll Do
* Lead & Develop: Run 1:1s, coach your team, and build a high-performing group of project professionals.
* Drive Governance: Ensure clarity, compliance, and quality across projects of varying size and complexity.
* Collaborate at Scale: Engage with senior stakeholders, technical leads, and heads of department to align priorities.
* Champion Best Practice: Partner with data protection, security, and audit teams to maintain robust controls.
* Own the Roadmap: Shape the project department’s strategy and publish regular updates on progress.
* Quality Assurance: Review and refine project documentation before it reaches senior leadership.
* Operational Excellence: Manage time tracking and reporting for the team, ensuring efficiency and transparency.
What We Are Looking For
* Deep knowledge of insurance processes and experience in large‑scale organisations.
* Proven project management expertise and ability to handle complex stakeholder relationships.
* Exceptional leadership and people skills – you inspire, listen, and collaborate.
* A proactive, ambitious mindset – ready to push forward and grow within the insurance sector.
* Strong understanding and effective implementation of project methodologies to facilitate delivery.
* A proven proficiency in project management tools.
* Excels at managing risk, change and conflicting priorities.
* Strong planning and organisational skills to manage multiple workstreams.
