Senior Process Integration Engineer - AR/VR Display
Apple is looking for an elite Process Integration Engineer with a background in electronic devices to join the PPO Engineering team to work on innovative displays. The successful candidate will work with an extended team to eliminate technical blockers, establish the baseline process, validate it through collaborations with industry partners, and be a central figure in multi-functional communication.
Responsibilities
* Lead engineering investigation on new concepts and sophisticated technologies for physical architecture of devices and its integration processes.
* Work in multi-functional teams to define key requirements and constraints for product enablement.
* Collaborate with vendors to develop manufacturing technology.
* Optimize and improve architecture and process for better performance, yield, and reliability.
* Design and complete experiments followed by analysis to find solutions to technical problems.
Qualifications
* Experience in device architecture and process integration for microelectronics such as flat panel display or semiconductor industry.
* Familiarity with circuit and layout design for device implementation.
* Data acquisition and/or analysis of electrical and physical characterizations through measurement and correlation of electrical yield and reliability with physical defects.
* Knowledge of fundamental process technologies such as photolithography, thin film deposition, and etch.
* Extendibility of knowledge and skillset to a new technology field.
* Bonus Skills: In-line metrology and pFA techniques; Manufacturing data controls: yield management, SPC, Cpk; Layout design with understanding of PDKs; Collaborative work experience with internal and external partners.
Education & Experience
* B.S. degree minimum in Electrical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics or equivalent.
Pay & Benefits
Base pay is determined within a range and may vary by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200. Apple employees may participate in discretionary employee stock programs, receive health benefits, retirement benefits, discounted products and services, and educational assistance. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or relocation as applicable. Note: benefits and stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and plan terms.
