Audio Typist and Admin Assistant
Support the Medical Secretary service in Medicine.
Responsibilities
* Large volumes of audio typing from digital dictation
* Clerical work including post, scanning, photocopying, and filing
* Answering telephone calls and managing phone operations
* Supporting Medical Secretaries across the service as required, including cross-site at HRI/CRH
* Ensuring deadlines are met and administrative functions are carried out efficiently
Qualifications / Training
* English and Mathematics GCSE grade 9–2 (A*–E) or equivalent, or demonstrated high level of literacy and numeracy skills within application
* RSA II typing/word processing qualification
* Willingness to undertake further development and training
* Understanding of Medical Terminology
Knowledge, Experience & Expertise
* Experience working in a busy office environment with deadlines and targets
* Knowledge of software packages such as Word and Excel
* Experience working within an NHS environment
* Experience using Winscribe digital dictation systems
* Knowledge of EPR
Communication & Relationships
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
