EQUANS are recruiting for a Joinerto be based in Oldham. This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary of £34, plus van & fuel card and benefits package.
General Overview
To carry out the duties as an Joiner in accordance with Statutory Regulations, Company policies and Procedures. To assist the Team in producing a quality product meeting the requirements of the contract and in a safe manner. Adhere to all requirements set by SHEQ team, policy, and strategy.
Be part of an on-call Rota to cover Out of Hours breakdowns as required.
Key Accountabilities
1. Carry out various Joinery tasks to a high standard as instructed by the company including: Replacement and rehanging internal / external doors Repair / Replace locking mechanisms. Repair / Replace kitchen units and worktops. Repair / Replace floors and carcasing. Repair / Replace UPVC / Aluminum windows and doors. Skirtings architraves and capping Studding and staircases Roof timbers
2. Assist with the adherence to the Company quality standards including: Compliance with specification Compliance with materials / workmanship schedules
3. High quality Customer Care must always act in a polite and professional manor.
4. Maintain and care for all company tools.
5. 1st time fix to be achieved wherever possible.
6. To use appropriate safety equipment
7. To wear appropriate clothing / uniform
8. To ensure areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day.
9. To be responsible for and take due care of the company van in accordance with the company car policy.
10. To be responsible for holding keys for communal entrances, meter cupboards and allow access where appropriate.
11. Liaison with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc.
12. Material co-ordination
13. Ensure accurate / timely completion of any relevant documentation required on the contract.
14. Any other reasonable management request
