An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join our client's dynamic team, where you will be responsible for defining and distributing the scope of work to ensure that the project is executed safely, on time and at appropriate levels of quality.
As the Senior/Principal EC&I Engineer you will be responsible for the delivery of design and engineering to meet the requirements technical specification.
Location will be based in Didcot, including remote working with occasional site visit
Production of design deliverables throughout the design process.
Ensuring quality and timely delivery of design documentation. Management of contractors.
Degree qualified in a relevant technical / engineering discipline or demonstrable experience.
Working towards, or already have, Chartership in a discipline specific engineering institution.
Strong understanding of the fundamentals within your engineering discipline.
Current SC Security Clearance.
Mechanical Handling (including Remote in-cell handling)
Previous experience of working within the nuclear industry.
Understanding of design requirements and justification to support nuclear safety cases.
Good level of commercial awareness.
Full membership of a discipline specific engineering institution.
EC&I design integration with control systems (PLC/SCADA) would be advantageous.
