Adult Social Worker
As an Adult Social Worker, you will handle a range of complex cases, collaborating with other agencies and professionals. You will partner with individuals and their families or carers to assess needs and provide tailored support.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Building effective relationships and communication with colleagues, service users, and other professionals to deliver appropriate interventions.
2. Providing mentoring and coaching to junior colleagues.
3. Evaluating and monitoring progress against planned interventions.
4. Working with service users, families, carers, and communities to assess needs and support change.
5. Participating in safeguarding investigations as needed.
6. Ensuring the implementation of department policies and procedures in compliance with statutory responsibilities.
Requirements:
* Registration with Social Work England.
* Experience in partnership working and fostering positive relationships.
* Enhanced DBS check, recent within the last 12 months. On the update service? You may be fast-tracked through our recruitment process.
* Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check if not already held.
* Strong knowledge of social work theories and practices.
* Experience managing risks within complex caseloads.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
