Our Tax Project Team is seeking a Private Tax Manager to focus on Tax Advisory / Planning Project work. You will play a pivotal role in our continued success. You will assist managers and directors to provide taxation advice to clients, support teams in the delivery of their work and ensure operational objectives are met. Compliance, quality standards, client care and regulatory adherence will be your core responsibilities.
This is an ideal role for someone who would like to be more involved with helping clients achieve their goals through tax planning and analysis. Prior experience in these types of planning is not necessary; the key attributes we are looking for are willingness to learn and a desire to help clients find the best solutions for them.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver all elements of a tax project, providing tax advice with supervision by your manager or director
* Train assistant team members and regularly review their work to ensure client requirements are met
* Manage your workflow and client expectations, using your specialist knowledge to add value
* Develop working relationships with clients and assist in all aspects of the company’s relationships to maximise yield and performance
* Identify areas of risk and viable opportunities for current and potential clients
* Initiate and take an active role in business development by promoting the full range of services to clients (cross‑selling) when appropriate
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* Possessing either partial or full CTA, ACA or ACCA qualifications, or experience in a Tax role
* Demonstrated proficiency in collaborating within a team environment
* Must have UK accounting / practice experience
* Must have UK private tax compliance or advisory experience
* Robust communication and interpersonal skills
