Are you an experienced Band 7 or 8a Clinical Psychologist looking for a new challenge? The post is based with a neuropsychology team at York Hospital, with some clinical time at Scarborough Hospital. Travel is required, and hybrid working is available.
You will join a well-established Psychological Medicine department, including Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, CBT Therapists, and others. There is potential to work across other services in psychological medicine.

The Neuropsychology Service seeks a Clinical Psychologist to support outpatient and inpatient services, with opportunities for teaching, research, and audit.

Qualifications, knowledge, skills, personal qualities
* Post-graduate doctoral training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, psychometrics, and accredited therapies, with HCPC registration.
* Experience in psychological assessment and treatment of medically ill patients.
* Ability to handle highly emotive and distressing situations professionally.
* Skills in complex psychological assessment, intervention, and management.
* Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
* Consultation skills for professional and non-professional groups.
* Teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability.
* Experience with neurological patients in an Acute Trust setting.
