Overview
We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join Novus Energy, a fast-growing nationwide renewable energy and retrofit company making clean energy simple and accessible for businesses and homes.
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring solar and retrofit contracts are delivered on time, to the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You'll manage a multi-skilled team, oversee client relationships, and play a key role in driving the UK's transition to clean energy.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and develop a multi-skilled field operations team to deliver renewable energy and retrofit projects across existing multi-year contracts
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring timelines and commitments are met.
* Act as a technical expert for renewable solutions, supporting clients with advice and guidance.
* Monitor performance using data and KPIs, driving improvements in efficiency, customer satisfaction, and quality.
* Oversee contractor and supplier relationships, mitigating risks and ensuring smooth supply chain delivery.
* Support the growth team by advising on operational delivery for bids and proposals.
* Ensure projects comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Manage operational budgets, costs, and resources effectively.
* Support the upskilling and transition of teams into retrofit/renewables.
* Take responsibility for escalations, troubleshooting, and ensuring positive customer outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
Experience & Skills
* Strong knowledge of the PAS retrofit journey including compliant surveys, designs and handovers
* Strong knowledge of renewable technologies (solar PV, batteries, heat pumps, etc.) and their installation/maintenance.
* Excellent client relationship skills - able to communicate effectively with stakeholders across social housing, commercial, and domestic sectors.
* Strong coaching, leadership, and people development skills.
* Good understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements.
* Experience in project delivery and supply chain coordination.
* Microsoft Office proficiency
What We're Looking For
* Strong background in Electrical systems and Solar PV (essential).
* Proven experience in managing projects, ideally within renewable energy, construction, or electrical industries
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
* Strong communication and leadership skills to keep teams aligned and motivated
* A proactive problem solver who thrives on accountability and ownership.
About the Role
* £40,000-£45,000 Salary

* Office based from Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, with site travel as required
* 37.5 Hours per week
