About the team and the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure and access controls for our enterprise integration platform, primarily Mulesoft, and supporting cloud-based services in GCP or AWS. The successful candidate will ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of our integration environment, enabling smooth and seamless data flow across our systems
What you’ll do
1. Access Management & Security:
Manage user access to Mulesoft and other integration-related systems, including OAUTH2 credential management. Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data. Handle access requests and troubleshoot access-related issues promptly. Coordinate with the Enterprise Integration Architect on any significant changes to access control policies or security configurations.
2. Environment Management:
Maintain and monitor the health and performance of the Mulesoft integration platform. Support the deployment and configuration of integration solutions in cloud environments (AWS). Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency. Inform the Enterprise Integration Architect of any major infrastructure changes or performance issues that may impact integration solutions.
3. Infrastructure Support:
Provide technical support for integration infrastructure, resolving issues and ensuring minimal downtime. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration deployments. Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines. Escalate complex infrastructure issues or deployment challenges to the Enterprise Integration Architect for guidance.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of system configurations, access controls, and operational procedures. Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference. Share relevant documentation and reports with the Enterprise Integration Architect as needed.
5. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify and address potential infrastructure and security risks. Continuously seek opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, and security. Collaborate with the Enterprise Integration Architect on initiatives to optimise the integration environment.
Who you are
6. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in an enterprise integration environment.
7. Strong understanding of Mulesoft or similar iPaaS platforms.
8. Experience with GCP / AWS cloud services.
9. Knowledge of access management and security principles, including OAUTH2.
10. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
11. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
13. Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
