Litigation Solicitor / Head of Department – Midlands – Locum and Permanent
We’re working with a highly regarded Midlands-based firm that has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality work within a genuinely supportive and forward‑thinking environment.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their well‑established team on both a locum and permanent basis.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload, including:
* Debt Recovery (small claims, fast track, and multi‑track matters)
* Lease Extensions and Lease Variations
* FTT applications
* Lease analysis
* Enforcement of Judgments
* Forfeiture and Possession Proceedings
* Supporting the Pre‑Litigation team with technical queries
* General Civil and Commercial disputes
Experience & Knowledge
* Experience advising on matters relating to the Landlord and Tenant Act
* Familiarity with the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act
* Understanding of the Right to Manage (RTM) process
* Working knowledge of the Companies Act 2006

* Strong communicator with excellent client care skills
* Proactive and organised in managing your caseload
* Commercially minded with sound judgementKeen to develop and progress within a supportive structure
