We are seeking an exceptional Teacher in Charge to lead our Junior Specialist Centre, a nurturing and inclusive setting dedicated to supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day running of the Junior Specialist Centre, ensuring a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for all pupils.
2. Liaise effectively with external agencies, parents/carers, and the wider school community to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
3. Lead and support a dedicated team of staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, high expectations, and continuous improvement.
4. Develop and implement tailored learning plans that meet the diverse needs of pupils.
5. Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
6. Be a qualified teacher with experience in Additional Learning Needs and Disabilities education.
7. Be qualified to work with pupils with ASC or equivalent.
8. Demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills.
9. Be an excellent communicator, able to build positive relationships with pupils, families, staff, and external professionals.
10. Be passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
11. Have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in working with pupils with additional learning needs.
