The role
Designing and supporting Womenswear Formal Jersey tops covering a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Working Pattern: Mostly 5 days a week in the office, with flexible hours between 8am and 6pm.
What you'll take on
-Designing the product range and responding super fast to design briefs.
-Being creative and setting the design direction.
-Spotting key trends (colour, shape, fabric) and turning them into cool, customer-friendly products while keeping an eye on the budget.
-Working with loads of different people (buyers, merchandisers, tech teams, etc.) to get products delivered on time.
-Working on project collections and the main range.
-You'll be managing an Assistant Designer
What you'll bring
-Gotta have formal jersey design experience, ideally in Womenswear or Girlswear.
-You must be great at creating and using tech packs and briefing manufacturers.
-Management experience would be a bonus
-You must know Photoshop and Illustrator inside and out.
-Being a good team player is a must-have.
-Experience with factories and different brands/retailers is a plus.
-Retailer or Supplier industry experience is ideal.
