Description:
Berry Recruitment are currently for a Machinist working alongside a busy manufacturing client within the Timber industry- a brand new exciting opportunity based in King's Lynn.
Duties will include:
1. Role involves setting and running machinery
2. Understanding of timber grades and profiles
3. Must be confident to work both independently and in a team
4. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to all health and safety regulations and rules
5. Good numeracy and accuracy skills
Previous experience would be advantageous however previous experience working within a yard environment or manufacturing/production would be required.
Previous experience with using Weinig Powercom software would be desirable.
Working hours are 46 hours per week, working 6am-6pm, with a rotating day off.
Salary will be dependent on experience, between £27,500-£29,500 per year.
This is a permanent position.
