Offer description

Are you naturally organised with a love of problem-solving, and excited by the idea of improving how people experience work?

Do you want to design experiences that help people thrive and build a career that goes beyond traditional HR? If so, we might have the perfect role for you.

As our People Experience (PX) Associate, you’ll join us on a funded apprenticeship in Digital Product Management — a fresh, modern approach that blends people, data, and creativity to design and improve the employee journey.

Note: We have a hybrid approach where many colleagues work in the office 3 days a week, however this role would be fully office-based to learn and develop from the People team. Our offices are based near the Metro Centre in Gateshead.

The role

You'll be responsible for:

# Supporting recruitment coordination, including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communication, and ensuring smooth processes for hiring managers.

# Delivering onboarding and offboarding experiences that are consistent, engaging, and aligned with our culture.

# Collecting and analysing people data and feedback (e.g. onboarding completion, engagement scores, training uptake) to highlight opportunities for improvement.

# Supporting the research, design, launch, and embedding of Academy modules and other learning & development projects, ensuring they’re well-used and effective.

# Applying product management principles and agile, test-and-learn methods to People Experience (PX) initiatives.

# Helping to document repeatable processes and improve accessibility of People resources and knowledge banks.

When you join our crew you get a platform to shine ⭐ … and 25 days annual leave (plus public holidays and your birthday off), social activities and office events including our famous monthly breakfast buffets, as well as a range of wellbeing options, a personal development plan, and a fully funded Digital Product Management apprenticeship.

The person

Ideally you'll have:

# A strong interest in psychology, employee experience, and design principles.

# Confidence with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and online learning tools.

# Comfort working with data and feedback to make recommendations.

# Exceptional written English and verbal communication skills.

# Great organisation and time management skills, able to balance hands-on delivery with apprenticeship learning.

# A collaborative style — socially intelligent, supportive, and able to work positively with colleagues across the business.

# A growth mindset — you embrace feedback, learn quickly, and are keen to apply new skills in practice.
