As our People Experience (PX) Associate, you’ll join us on a funded apprenticeship in Digital Product Management — a fresh, modern approach that blends people, data, and creativity to design and improve the employee journey.
Note: We have a hybrid approach where many colleagues work in the office 3 days a week, however this role would be fully office-based to learn and develop from the People team. Our offices are based near the Metro Centre in Gateshead.
The role
You'll be responsible for:
# Supporting recruitment coordination, including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communication, and ensuring smooth processes for hiring managers.
# Delivering onboarding and offboarding experiences that are consistent, engaging, and aligned with our culture.
# Collecting and analysing people data and feedback (e.g. onboarding completion, engagement scores, training uptake) to highlight opportunities for improvement.
# Supporting the research, design, launch, and embedding of Academy modules and other learning & development projects, ensuring they’re well-used and effective.
# Applying product management principles and agile, test-and-learn methods to People Experience (PX) initiatives.
# Helping to document repeatable processes and improve accessibility of People resources and knowledge banks.

The person
Ideally you'll have:
# A strong interest in psychology, employee experience, and design principles.
# Confidence with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and online learning tools.
# Comfort working with data and feedback to make recommendations.
# Exceptional written English and verbal communication skills.
# Great organisation and time management skills, able to balance hands-on delivery with apprenticeship learning.
# A collaborative style — socially intelligent, supportive, and able to work positively with colleagues across the business.
# A growth mindset — you embrace feedback, learn quickly, and are keen to apply new skills in practice.
