Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Car Parking Clerical Officer to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional services across our two main hospitals. This role supports the Car Parking Supervisor and Security Assurance Manager in resources and daily operations within our Resilience Team.
Responsibilities
* Maintain a professional approach at all times in line with the Trust values.

* Uphold the privacy and dignity of the client group and respect equality at all times.
* Liaise with all levels of staff in a professional and respectful manner to maintain effective communication and assist the operational team to maintain client flow and meet relevant targets.
* Motivate and support staff so that they understand the objectives of the service and are able to maximise their contribution to the highest standards.
* Have an awareness of team’s performance at any given stage based on completion of activity reports, team updates and meetings.
* Facilitate communication within the team around any changes to admin systems and processes as well as with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist with reports to ensure archived records, both paper and electronic, are regularly reviewed and confidentially destroyed at the appropriate time.
* Assist with the management of training documentation and update records to ensure all data is relevant and up to date.
* Assist with and provide any reports that need to be produced on an ad‑hoc and monthly basis.
* Participate in and undertake audits as required by line manager.
* Ensure all communications internal and external contribute to a positive, caring and helpful image of the Trust and are of the highest possible standard.
* Undertake training as appropriate in line with the role and its associated developments.
* Process and manage complaints in relation to car‑parking including PCNs.
Qualifications & Education
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
* Educated to English Language and Maths GCSE level or equivalent.
Knowledge & Experience
* Experience of working in a changing environment.
* Computer literacy, experienced in data entry and use of e‑mail.
* Understanding of Information Governance, Data Quality and its requirements.
* Experience in the use of electronic PAS.
* Experience in Customer Care.
* Confidentiality Awareness.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
