We are now recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis.
Shift:
* Variety of shift patterns on AM start times.
* Variety of shift patterns on PM start times from 16:00.
Salary/Hourly Rates:
* Mon-Fri Days - £14.50 per hour (including meal allowance and tier payment).
* Mon-Fri Night Shift - £15.90 per hour (including meal allowance and tier payment).
* Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.00 per hour (including meal allowance and tier payment).
* Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.50 per hour (including meal allowance and tier payment).
* Bank Holidays - £18.81 per hour (including meal allowance and tier payment).
Job Description
The role will be based at our Tesco Daventry campus and will include store, trunking work, and general haulage. Being based on a Tesco site, you will use a variety of Stobart and Tesco equipment. While the role will include Stobart work, you will also be expected to support the wider Culina network when needed.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience.
* Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC, and Tacho Card.
* No more than 6 points on your licence with no DD/DR code convictions.
* Understanding and ability to comply with driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
* Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
* Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
* Excellent communication skills.
