Role Overview

As we expand our services, we're seeking a Deputy Manager who embodies our values and can help lead our team with professionalism and commitment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in managing the daily operations of the service, ensuring smooth and efficient care delivery
* Supervise and support care staff, promoting a culture of excellence and empathy
* Coordinate and manage staff rotas in conjunction with Care Co-ordinators to ensure adequate coverage for all client visits
* Conduct initial assessments and contribute to the development of personalised care plans
* Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate standards and other regulatory requirements
* Support recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of care staff
* Address client concerns and complaints with professionalism and sensitivity
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to ensure holistic care
* Promote culturally sensitive care practices and inclusive service delivery
* Act as the Registered Manager in their absence, maintaining continuity and quality.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a management role within the healthcare sector
* RN/ RMN or SVQ Level 4 (Leadership & Management) in Health & Social Care preferred
* Strong knowledge of assisted living, senior care, and dementia care practices
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs
* Familiarity with medication administration protocols
* Compassionate approach towards client care.
