Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide health and safety expertise across the organisation
2. Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments
3. Lead incident investigations and liaise with external regulators
4. Deliver internal training on health and fire safety practices
5. Produce reports and insights for senior management
6. Support the development of safe systems of work and risk documentation
7. Candidate Profile:
8. NEBOSH General Certificate (Fire or Construction Certificate desirable)
9. TechIOSH membership essential
10. Proven experience in housing, care, construction or similarly high-risk sectors
11. Strong communication and analytical skills
12. Competent in using MS Office and health & safety software portals
13. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
14. Confident attending live construction sites when required
What’s on Offer:
15. Competitive salary + car allowance
16. Comprehensive induction and training opportunities
17. 25 days’ holiday (rising with service), bank holidays and additional Christmas leave
18. Access to employee wellbeing resources, pension, and benefits schemes
This is a brilliant opportunity to join an organisation making a meaningful difference in the community — and to use your skills to enhance safety and wellbeing across complex service areas.
