Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Chester.
This role involves delivering engaging Art lessons across KS3–KS4, encouraging students to develop their creativity, technical skills, and confidence. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in photography, supporting students to explore digital and traditional photographic techniques as part of their curriculum.
You will work closely with the department to deliver high-quality lessons, prepare resources, and contribute to a creative and supportive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will:
• Hold QTS or be an experienced instructor with strong Art curriculum knowledge
• Have experience teaching Art at secondary level (photography experience preferred)
• Inspire students through creativity, practical skills, and experimentation
• Be confident using a range of artistic mediums, including digital media
• Be passionate about helping young people achieve their creative potential
