General Builder

Home Developments Sussex (HDS) are looking for a skilled and motivated General Builder to join our excellent team. We specialise in delivering high-end construction services for homeowners, businesses, and main contractors in Cuckfield and the surrounding areas.
The Role
As a General Builder, you'll be working on a wide range of high-quality projects, taking responsibility for skilled building tasks as well as supporting and guiding others. Duties include:
* Carrying out a variety of building and construction works to a high standard
* Working independently and project managing tasks as well as part of a small, multi-skilled team
* Assisting in managing site tasks and supporting less experienced colleagues
* Helping maintain a safe, tidy and well-organised working environment
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a General Builder with strong practical skills (5-10 years with references on application)
* Ability to work independently and take initiative on site
* A positive, professional attitude with strong attention to detail
* Great communication and teamwork skills, especially when working in small teams
* Physically fit and able to perform manual duties
* Must have own transport/ driving license
