Channel Marketing Manager – Contract Role
Location: Reading (Hybrid – 1 day per week or bi‑weekly in the office)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Channel Marketing Manager to drive analysis, planning, and execution of retail and channel marketing strategies across the region. This role is ideal for a commercially minded marketer with strong retail experience, excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple markets.
You’ll work closely with regional, category, sales, and retail teams to deliver data‑driven insights, seasonal planning, and high‑impact execution that accelerates product performance and partner engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis & Insight
* Transform consumer behaviour data into actionable insights to shape sell‑through planning.
* Measure and optimise marketing campaigns, promotions, and retail programs to maximise ROI.
* Monitor competitor activity and adjust marketing initiatives accordingly.
* Assess partner marketing capabilities, identifying local needs and opportunities.
* Collaborate with global and regional teams on integrated marketing plans across digital and retail.
* Gather and synthesise data from partners, internal teams, and industry sources to drive strategic decisions.
Marketing Planning
* Support medium‑and long‑term retail marketing plans aligned with seasonal peaks and product lifecycles.
* Anticipate seasonal and industry trends to support readiness across markets.
* Lead and support rhythm‑of‑business processes across the sub‑region.
* Ensure alignment with global seasonal planning frameworks to improve execution consistency.
Marketing Execution
* Drive seamless subsidiary execution across Category, Sales, Retail Services, and supporting teams.
* Ensure consistent channel marketing execution aligned with global guidance.
* Provide product and marketing expertise to support partner trust and business growth.
* Localise category plans and coordinate marketing activity across local teams (visual merchandising, field labour, training, digital).
* Review performance and share learnings to continuously improve execution.
Business Operational Excellence
* Support budget management and drive maximum ROI.
* Foster a creative, entrepreneurial approach while maintaining strategic alignment.
* Ensure alignment to PC Aisle KPIs, including digital objectives.
* Partner with field and evangelism teams to improve reporting and performance tracking.
Leadership
* Demonstrate strong indirect leadership and influence across teams and markets.
* Communicate strategy clearly and hold contributors accountable for key goals.
* Drive collaboration without authority across multiple teams and geographies.
* Analysis & Insight – Ability to analyse market trends and apply insights to strengthen marketing strategies.
* Marketing Principles – Development and execution of integrated channel marketing plans; ROI measurement.
* Strategic Business Planning – Ability to set strategic objectives, support category planning, and drive lifecycle execution.
* Consultative Leadership – Partner influence, cross‑group collaboration, and category expertise.
* Business Operational Excellence – Execution of KPIs, inventory management, and operational rigour.
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or similar (MBA preferred).
* Experience in Retail, Channel Marketing, Marketing, or Retail Sales.
* Proven success in marketing and execution planning, ideally within consumer technology.
* Strong experience in product lifecycle and seasonal retail planning.
* Excellent executive‑level communication and multicultural stakeholder management.
* Experience launching new products and working in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
* Ability to coach, support, and influence cross‑functional teams.
