Electrical Project Manager - HV Projects

Scope of Work: A key role in the continued growth of this business that will take control of the electrical scope on HV transmission projects across Ireland, from concept and pre-construction, through construction and commissioning, to handover.

Turner Lovell is recruiting an Electrical Project Manager to join a leading, highly innovative, multi-national engineering services company in Ireland. This is a brilliant opportunity for the right individual to join a well established, highly regarded business that is experiencing growth in their power and energy business unit through their success in delivering transmission projects. You will work directly and effectively with a range of stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle such as Renewable project developers, Local Authorities, ESB Networks, and others.
With the support or the wider team, your responsibilities will include:
Ensure the scope of works is delivered in a safe manner, on time, to the required quality standards, meeting the acceptance criteria and achieving the expected financial outcomes.
Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large installation projects.
Strong Electrical Systems experience with good knowledge of Commissioning activities.
Planning of all resources including labour, materials and specialist sub-contractors.
Manage and drive a large team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines.
Ensuring the adherence to EHS and Quality standards, as per the contract documentation.
The ideal profile is someone with:
Ambitions to progress to a Contract Manager role in future.
5 - 7 years previous experience in Project Management with a recognised Electrical trade or main contractor.
Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large installation projects
Experienced dealing with Labour Management.
Experienced in design and build type projects.
EHS Knowledge and application.
Experienced in complex Electrical Services work.
