Are you an experienced L&D professional ready to hit the ground running? Were looking for a confident, hands-on Learning & Development ProjectLead to shape and deliver a strategic training programme across a diverse, operational management workforce in London. This is a highly visible role focused on talent mapping, skills gap analysis, training design, delivery, and evaluation working across all levels, from operational managers to senior leadership. The Role:This isnt a desk job. Youll be actively visiting sites, engaging managers, and gathering insights to inform and develop a targeted learning strategy. The focus is on improving consistency, upskilling leadership, and supporting a cultural shift in how training is delivered and valued. Key Responsibilities: Identify training needs through data, performance scores, and stakeholder engagement Map skills, analyse leadership capability, and create tailored development programmes Design and deliver impactful training for non-driving staff through to General Managers Evaluate training effectiveness and refine approaches based on outcomes Occasionally source bespoke external solutions when necessary Contribute to digital transformation of training delivery (currently classroom-based) Partner with senior leaders to ensure alignment with operational and business goals What We're Looking For: Strong experience in L&D within transport, logistics, or similar blue-collar environments Skilled in TNA, training design, delivery, and evaluation Comfortable leading from the front and influencing senior stakeholders Resilient, proactive, and able to build trust quickly on-site Experience in project management and digital learning transformation Our client offers a good benefits package coupled with an exciting role.
