Stock Controller & Warehouse Service Administrator

Permanent | Monday-Friday (rotating shifts between 7am-6pm)
Salary: £25,396.80 per year
Join a fast-paced and growing logistics business where no two days are the same. We're looking for a proactive Stock Controller & Warehouse Service Administrator to support our warehouse operations, stock accuracy and customer service functions.
This role is approximately 50/50 warehouse-based and administrative. Stock control is the priority, and during quieter customer service periods you'll be expected to move straight onto the warehouse floor to support checks and operational activity.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Control & Warehouse Operations
* Maintain accurate stock control across the warehouse
* Produce and review inventory and stock reports
* Carry out cycle counts, quality checks, batch checks and date checks
* Complete weekly warehouse stock audits
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
* Support general warehouse operations during downtime, including container unloading and stock movements
* Work safely at all times, following warehouse and H&S procedures
Customer Service & Administration
* Act as a point of contact for customer queries relating to orders, deliveries and returns
* Accurately process customer orders using internal systems
* Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatch
* Liaise with couriers and transport providers, tracking deliveries and resolving issues
* Investigate and resolve customer complaints, escalating where necessary
What You'll Need
Essential
* Proven experience in a warehouse setting, with comfort working in cold environments.
* Experience with stock control processes
* Strong administrative skills with high numerical accuracy
* Customer service experience
* Ability to work on your own initiative and manage changing priorities
* Comfortable working both at a desk and on the warehouse floor
* Strong attention to detail and a safety-aware mindset
Desirable
* Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
* Transport or logistics experience
* Scissor lift qualification
