Highview Power Carrington – LAES Project (FOAK)
Project utilises proprietary LAES technology converting surplus renewable electricity into stored liquid air, with later pressurisation and reheating to drive turbines for electricity generation.

Temporary Works Manager
As a Temporary Works Manager (TWM) your role is to ensure that all non-permanent works such as temporary village, power, lighting, fencing, access, structures, scaffolding, formwork, shoring, are safely and efficiently managed, planned, designed, checked, and erected.
Key Responsibilities
Management
Developing schedules of Temporary Works requirements and coordination with client and BUK management team including prioritisation of works.
Design & Planning
Overseeing the preparation of suitable temporary works designs and ensuring they are checked for safety and compliance.
Identifying and mitigating risks associated with temporary works by way of RAMS.
On-Site Supervision
Monitoring the erection and use of temporary works to ensure they are built and maintained correctly.
Compliance
Making sure all temporary works meet relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Coordination
Liaising with designers, engineers, site teams, and other contractors to ensure temporary works don't compromise the main construction.
Documentation
Maintaining records of designs, checks, and any alterations to temporary works.
Stopping Work
Having the authority to stop work if temporary works are not satisfactory or safe.
Importance of a TWM
The TWM ensuring proper management of these non-permanent elements, the TWM contributes to the overall safety, efficiency, and success of a construction project.
