A Health & Safety Manager vacancy working for a leading manufacturer based in Berkshire. Reporting into the Head of Health & Safety and working closely with the company's leadership team to support their ambitious growth plans over the next eight to ten years. The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for:
* Conducting Health & Safety audits, maintaining legal and risk registers, and ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices through tools like CEDREC.
* Developing and delivering Health & Safety training, updating induction materials, and embedding risk controls into SOPs and work instructions to promote safe ways of working.
* Leading preparedness and response efforts for emergencies, ensuring statutory inspections are completed, and investigate incidents with corrective and preventative actions.
* Championing behavioural safety, leading the Safety Champions and HS&E Committee, support occupational health initiatives, and report KPIs and shared learnings to management.
The Health & Safety Manager will have:
* NEBOSH General Certificate
* Health & Safety experience in a food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
* Minimum three years H&S experience
* Ability to communicate at all levels.
