Supplier Manager – Corporate Travel Industry
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and ambitious travel management business who are looking to appoint a Supplier Manager to take on a highly visible and influential role within their team.
This is not a behind-the-scenes position — this is someone who will become the face of the business across the supplier community. You’ll be out there building genuine partnerships with airlines, hotels and ground providers, representing the brand, and unlocking real commercial opportunity.
It’s a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives on relationships, enjoys being in the room with key industry players, and wants to step into a role where they can truly make their mark. Whether you’re already working in supplier relations or account management, or you may potentially be coming from a Corporate travel consultant or supplier-side background with strong commercial instincts, this role offers real scope to grow.
Supplier Manager – what will I be doing?
• Acting as the key point of contact and ambassador for supplier relationships across air, hotel and ground partners
• Building strong, credible relationships with suppliers and becoming a recognised presence in the industry
• Spending time networking at industry events, building connections and strengthening the company’s presence within the supplier community
• Leading commercial conversations to secure competitive rates, added value and long-term partnership benefits
• Identifying opportunities to drive revenue, improve commercial performance and enhance the overall product offering
• Reviewing supplier performance using data and insight, and working collaboratively to raise standards
• Supporting internal teams with supplier strategy, ensuring it aligns with client needs and commercial goals
• Playing a key role in shaping how supplier partnerships evolve as the business continues to grow
Supplier Manager – what experience do I need?
• Experience within the travel industry is essential — this could be from a TMC, airline, or wider supplier environment
• Background in supplier, account management or commercial roles, or potentially a corporate travel consultant with strong commercial awareness looking to step up
• A natural relationship builder who is confident, engaging and credible in front of partners
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to spot and unlock commercial opportunity
• Excellent communication and presentation skills — someone who genuinely “lights up a room”
• A proactive, energetic approach with the confidence to take ownership of a high-profile role
