Level 2 Teaching Assistant, 37 hours per week, term time only plus PD Days, permanent contract

Bishopton Pupil Referral Unit is a good school which educates and supports children in KS3 and KS4 with complex learning needs and challenging behaviour within the Stockton-on-Tees Local Authority.
We have high academic aspirations for every student and focus on addressing their social, emotional and mental health needs. At the heart of all we do, is a belief that relationships with students, staff, parents/carers and other agencies matter.
You will have specific experience of supporting pupils with a wide range of SEMH and will be able to demonstrate experience of supporting the delivery of a personalised curriculum. You will need to be committed to creating a positive learning environment for all pupils and will need a high level of resilience and a commitment to working as part of a team to support vulnerable children.
Normal working hours are Monday – Thursday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and Friday 8.30 am to 3.30 pm
Start Date: Immediate start available.
Salary and Benefits Information
Salary: Local Authority Support Staff Pay Spine, Points 7 - 8 (£25,584 - £25,992 per annum FTE)
Actual pro rata term time only salary based on spine point 7 is £22,103.88 per annum
