Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Liquid Cooling and High Density, Systems Engineering Manager with proven design leadership in mechanical thermal product and system design, recognized as a technical authority across multiple disciplines. In this role, you will collaborate with the Engineering Director and stakeholders to develop new products and improve existing cooling systems with innovative features. You will translate customer needs into clear product and system requirements, ensuring solutions meet technical and commercial goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Engineering Director to establish product requirements based on market needs.
2. Create product concepts that meet these requirements.
3. Balance design aspects such as size, serviceability, cost, performance, weight, and size.
4. Guide mechanical and electrical design teams to align their detailed work with the initial vision.
5. Assist in manufacturability and process considerations, field skills, and system context.
6. Mentor and develop team talent through coaching and training.
Education & Certifications:
* Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
* 3D CAD skills for design visualization and communication.
* Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, suppliers, market drivers.
Requirements:
* Experience with OEM, HVAC, or Data Center customers.
* Expertise in HVAC, thermal, and fluid dynamics.
* Additional qualification in Business or Project Management is a plus.
* Strong credentials in product development adhering to safety standards.
* Understanding of NPD processes, controls, hydraulic systems.
* Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.
* Knowledge of standards such as EMC, UL, CE.
