Work Schedule: Compressed Work Week Nights 1 (CWW N1): 6pm-6am, Sun-Tue, and every other Wed OR Nights 2 (CWW N2): 6pm-6am, Thu-Sat, and every other Wed.
Job Mission
ASML is a leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry. This role is for a First Line Support Production Engineer in Wilton, working with cross-sector teams to quickly resolve engineering issues and support production output.
Job Description
1. Spend ~75% of time in the Cleanroom supporting production and troubleshooting
2. Troubleshoot electro-mechanical modules, subassemblies, and module test issues
3. Support multi-discipline test equipment troubleshooting (Hardware/Software/Electrical/Servo)
4. Master test rig software: Linux/Python + ASML GUI
5. Analyze MATLAB runs, plot database data, support data queries
6. Support diagnostics development, qualification, and implementation
7. Evaluate and disposition failed parts with solutions
8. Develop manufacturing procedures and work instructions
9. Support design reviews and root cause analysis for DOA issues
10. Assist with cycle time, labor roadmaps, and PFMEA
11. Read mechanical, electrical, optical drawings
12. Knowledge of MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python
13. Occasional weekend coverage required
14. Work in a cleanroom environment with gowning, around cranes, lasers, chemicals
Education
BSc in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
Experience
2+ years in an engineering environment; understanding of manufacturing assemblies, servo/mechatronic control systems, multi-disciplinary assemblies, hardware/software testers, UNIX/Linux/Python/MATLAB; experience with optical-electrical sensors, production engineering, quality methods (SPC, FMEA), NX, Teamcenter, SAP, Twinscan, vacuum systems, image/data processing is a plus.

Context
Includes physical demands, working in a cleanroom, around equipment, and occasional travel. Must interpret data, learn new skills, and access controlled technology as per regulations.
